Most whiskey gift guides are one long list of thirty products with the recipient left as an exercise for the reader. That is backwards. What decides whether a whiskey gift lands is almost never the product's quality - it is whether it fits the person, and a fifteen-dollar glass can beat a hundred-dollar decanter comfortably on that measure.

Pick the page that matches your person. If two apply, pick the more specific one - gifts for dad is a better starting point than gifts for him if the him in question is your father, because the pages assume different things about the household and the occasion.

If your constraint is money rather than person, go the other way instead: whiskey gifts by budget is the same product set organized by what you want to spend, and the two axes cross - most people end up using both.

It sounds trivial and it eliminates about half the category. Someone who drinks whiskey neat wants a tapered nosing glass, and might genuinely appreciate whiskey stones. Someone who drinks it over ice wants a heavy 11 to 12 oz rocks glass and a large-format ice mold, and would be actively downgraded by stones. Getting that one bit right matters more than anything else on this page.
